Parents aren’t always right!

Right?

Peter Rowsthorn in this video clip discusses how even though, from your perspective, you may think and believe you are doing the right thing but this may not be the case. It is important as a parent to keep an open mind and to engage in discussions when there is a difference in beliefs and to rationally and reasonably resolve them.

Tips:

Bond over chores

Give your children chores to do with you around the house – it’s a great way to spend time together and pass on skills and knowledge.

Activities:

Take your children out occasionally for a treat

Surprise your children occasionally with a fun treat such as ice creams, a swim at the beach or pool, or bowling.
