The Kensington Primary School Fathering Project Schools’ Group, The DUCKs, commenced on 28th May 2015.

We aim to provide opportunities for fathers & father figures to organise great activities for dads and their kids but also dads only events where fathers & father figures can socialise, network support, learn and share experiences with each other.

We have an organising committee with six members and is lead by David Mundy. The DUCKs have conducted the following successful events.

Be aware of children’s emotions

Don’t back off and assume it is mum’s role to deal with kids’ emotions. Learn to recognise when your child is feeling sad or frightened.

“Being there” with technology

Use technology to have face-to-face chats with your children when you are away from them.
