Attend the kids’ sports and other interests

Even if you don’t find your child’s chosen sport or interest entertaining, or find that it takes up a lot of time, make the effort to attend games, get involved, and show your child you support them.

Who knows, once you find out more about it, you may find there is a lot more to it than you imagined!


Get help if you are not coping

It’s tempting to put on a brave face and give the impression to your family that you are coping well with work, fathering, or other aspects of your life, even when things are not going great.


Make time for kids on work days

Taking your kids to school in the morning or picking them up in the afternoon is a great way to spend time together.
