Be there

If you are separated from your partner and have limited access to your children, make sure they know that you will continue to always be there for them.

  • Let your children know you will always be there for them, for the long haul, no matter what.
  • Make a special effort to be there during their tough and emotionally difficult times.
  • Teenagers especially need you to know you are there for them, despite the separation.

Quality time requires self-sacrifice

Too often we expect every interaction with our children to be a magical moment.
