When you are with your children, it is good fun going to see your children play sport and good fun taking them to a game. However you often find the best fun is when you pump up the football or netball or basketball, and then go with your kids to a local park or court and kick a ball or shoot some goals with them.
Not only is it fun, most dads I know who do this comment about the different conversations they have when doing something physical together. The time spend doesn’t need to be long – 30 minutes is usually enough. And a side benefit is that the exercise will help to burn off some of the excess!
