Low-cost ideas for dad dates

Dad dates don’t have to be about spending money – what’s important is spending time one-on-one with your child. Here are some ideas for dad dates involving little or no cost:

  • Go for a walk around your neighbourhood, through a local park or along the beach (even if it’s raining!)
  • Pack a picnic lunch and go for a bushwalk
  • Watch a local club sports match (cricket, football, etc)
  • Visit a local library, museum or art gallery
