Make morning time special

“One of my goals in life is to be around in the morning. Alice is not a morning person so I tend to get up and help the kids with breakfast, help reduce the squabbling amongst the children.” – Geoff Creelman, program manager, Australian government department

  • Can you take a chore off your wife’s hands in order to spend more time with your children?
  • You might make them breakfast, get them ready for school, or even help out with a school project. Even helping out a couple of times a week could make a big difference in the life of your family

Tips:

Communicating with your child

The most powerful way to engage with your child on a daily basis is to shift your communication gear from ‘transactional' to 'interactional’.

Tips:

Spend time together before school

Start work later occasionally and do things with your kids instead.
