Parents aren’t always right!

Right?

Peter Rowsthorn in this video clip discusses how even though, from your perspective, you may think and believe you are doing the right thing but this may not be the case. It is important as a parent to keep an open mind and to engage in discussions when there is a difference in beliefs and to rationally and reasonably resolve them.

Tips:

Talk about your job

Children want to understand where you go and what you do all day.

Activities:

Joke swap

If you are apart from your kids because of work, travel, or access limitations, try this activity: ask your kids to send you a joke via text or email every day you are apart, and in turn send them a “Dad joke”.
