Board games are a great way to spend time with your children – there are hundreds of different types available in the stores, or you can often pick them up cheaply from charity shops or garage sales. Choose something age-appropriate, and take the time to teach your child how to play. Snakes and Ladders, Battleship, Monopoly, Pictionary, Cluedo, and Scrabble are all classic games you can try.

Tips:

Utilize a flexible schedule

Can you work an extra hour, or work through lunch to make time to leave early one day a week? Spend that extra hour with your child.
