Share a hobby

Finding an interest you share with your child, whether it be following or participating in a sport, doing some form of craft activity, reading, or anything else, has the twin benefits of providing a reason for you to spend time together, and giving you something to talk about.

Tips:

“The (Sex) Talk”

By the time your child is ready for the sex talk, it's likely they know a lot about the biology of it all from school or elsewhere.
Instead of focusing on the technical talk, start a conversation about how your child can make the best decisions for themselves.
