Spend time together before school

Start work later occasionally and do things with your kids instead.

  • Cook a special breakfast for them, or take them out for breakfast, one at a time
  • Help with the morning routine – make lunches, get the children dressed, pack schoolbags
  • Walk or drive them to school

Take each of your children on one-on-one trips

One-on-one trips (no other adults, no other kids) are a valuable way of spending time with your child and showing them they are special.

Be positive
