Virtual dinner

One of the most interesting practices I recently heard of was a father having dinner with his children via Skype. Picture this – Dad sitting at his table having dinner with his tablet set up on Skype. On the other end were his children doing the same at their home. It took a little while for this to feel normal but it eventually became easier. They were eating together like a family,

This example was a great way for the family routine to be maintained even when dad was away from the kids. Brilliant idea and clearly shows someone not letting a barrier becoming an excuse.
