Nominations for WA’s Father of the Year 2016 Award are now open

Here at The Fathering Project, we do not just encourage fathers to realise how important their presence is in a child’s life and encourage connection with their children in positive ways, we also want to ensure fathers are acknowledged for their positive contribution, not just within their household, but also within their community.

In collaboration with WA’s leading parenting and men’s health agencies, the WA Father of the Year Award aims to recognise fathers who have made family a priority, while balancing career and community involvement. The award also celebrates the significant role fathers play in their children’s lives and the wider community.

This award will publicly acknowledge the tremendous contribution that fathers and father figures make in shaping the future of Australia through their role in raising children to help them realise their full potential.

Nominations for WA Father of the Year 2016 Award are now open. The closing date for nominations is Friday 1st August 2016!
