Cooking with Cameron: Homemade chicken nuggets

Home made chicken nuggets are super easy to make and you can vary the flavours to suit your taste! This recipe just keeps it simple and think of it as a base recipe to build on.


  • 4 chicken fillets
  • 800gm potatoes (boiled)
  • Bread crumbs
  • 2tbs paprika
  • 3tbs crushed garlic
  • Seasoning of your choice


  1. Dice up potatoes and boil
  2. Dice chicken fillets
  3. Combine chicken potatoes and seasoning in a food processor, split quantities so you don’t overload the processor.
  4. Once blended combine mix into a bowl.
  5. Place bread crumbs in a bowl. Using 2 spoons to create nugget size balls and drop them into the bread crumbs and coat them.
  6. Heat frypan and coat with oil spray. Load nugget balls and flatten out with a spatular. Cook for 2min either side. Or add vege oil to cover pan about 5mm deep. Cook the same time.
  7. Enjoy!
