Cooking with Cameron: How to make tuna steaks

Tuna! As a child I was scared by tinned Tuna! The smell is awful! Bit when a friend dropped of some fresh caught tuna I had a warm cup of concrete and hardened up and decided to have a go at fresh Tuna. Wow what a meal this is, I am sold on fresh tuna. The flesh is flaky but still really firm. So if you are in the same boat of fear, then ignore the tinned tuna and have a crack at fresh Tuna. When it comes to the seasoning you can mix up your own or get some Italian herb mix.

Prep time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Roasting potatoes, cut into small pieces
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Lemon slices
