Podcast: Building mental fitness with Gus Worland

In 2016, Gus hosted the Man Up documentary series on ABC which exposed the issues of stoicism and isolation and how it can lead to significant mental health issues.

You will often hear Gus say, “suicide is the death of isolation” and research certainly support these thoughts “loneliness increases the likelihood of mortality by 26%.”

This podcast was released on Friday 9 October.

At the end of this journey of discovery, Gus decided to set up a Gotcha4Life to proactively encourage Aussies to speak up, express their emotions and ensure they all have a close friend in life that they can go to when times are tough.

Gotcha4Life believes in the power of prevention through connection and champions the idea of proactively building mental fitness and the resilience required to deal with the challenges that life throws at us.
