Father and former international cricket star Brad Haddin has been an Australian vice-captain, coach and represented Australia in Test, One-Day International and Twenty20 International cricket.
As a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper, he also played for the New South Wales Blues in both domestic first-class and List A cricket.
Haddin retired early from his sporting career, as daughter Mia battled a rare form of cancer. He wrote a book dedicated to his family called “My Family’s Keeper”. It told an extraordinary story of how one of cricket’s toughest competitors and his family dealt with a very private struggle. The book shared how teamwork and strong partnerships matter in life as much as they do in sport.
Every Friday, we’ll be publishing a new podcast episode to keep you entertained and inspired, no matter what kind of week you’ve had. Look forward to kicking back and enjoying a bit of a banter with an Australian icon, sports hero or other familiar face as we ask them about fathering, family and fame.
