You don’t have to do fatherhood alone.
Being a dad can be incredibly rewarding – and also challenging at times.
At The Fathering Project, we help dads connect, feel supported, and grow into the kind of fathers they want to be.
Whether you’re looking to meet other dads, get some space to talk, or need extra support when things feel tough, we’re here.
Ways to connect with other dads
Many dads come to us simply wanting connection – a chance to talk honestly, share experiences, and feel part of something.
Dads Groups
Our Dads Groups bring fathers together in a relaxed, welcoming environment. They’re a place to connect, learn from each other, and build confidence as a dad.
Walk & Talk
Our Walk & Talk programs offer a more informal way to connect – getting outside, moving, and having real conversations alongside other dads.
Virtual Dads Groups
Can’t make it in person? Our Virtual Dads Groups help dads connect wherever they are.
Extra support when things are tough
Sometimes dads need more than connection — they need personalised support.
We also provide more intensive, one-on-one support for dads facing complex challenges.
This support is delivered in partnership with government and local services and is focused on dads in communities experiencing hardship.
If you’re doing it tough, we’ll meet you where you’re at.
One-on-One Support
Our dedicated team works alongside dads to:
- Navigate challenges at home, work, or in relationships

Whether you are looking to refer a father, understand our program model, or explore collaboration, we welcome the conversation.

Our Community Fathering program delivers targeted support for fathers experiencing complex challenges.
