James Brown

James is a registered Clinical Psychologist and has been working with families for over 15 years. James has a particular interest in assisting men with issues relating to their psychological health and well-being, including treatment for anxiety and depression, managing work-related difficulties, and assisting with relationship concerns.

In addition to his clinical work, James is a Lecturer in Psychology and Counselling at the University of Southern Queensland. James’ research interests are in the area of fatherhood, including fathers’ use of humour in their homes, work-life integration, and the importance of relationship closeness between fathers and their children.
