A simple and easy Thai inspired sauce for your next dinner

Looking for a Thai inspired sauce to go over seafood? Today I have chosen salmon as the protein. Simply grill, pan fry or oven bake your salmon. Then add the sauce to flavour.

Ingredients

  • 400ml can coconut cream
  • 1tps lemongrass
  • 1tbs ginger
  • 2tbs garlic
  • Chilies (to taste)
  • 2tbs fish sauce
  • 1tbs brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp soy sauce
  • ¼ tsp ground turmeric

Method

  1. In a saucepan bring coconut cream to the boil. Then add all the other ingredients. Reduce to a simmer for about 10minutes, stir frequently.
  2. Cook salmon (or what seafood you have chosen).
  3. Plate up Salmon and liberally spoon sauce over your favourite seafood.
