Cam Merchant talks about his new Fatherhood role, becoming a dad, baby Oliver, and first outing together as a family

Cam Merchant shares his joy over the birth of baby Oliver. Both Cam and Jules reveal they are over the moon with the birth of their first baby son. During the course of the pregnancy Cam shared his ride to fatherhood on the channel, pregnancy yoga, birthing classes, tour of the birthing room, healthy eating to fitting the baby car seat and more.
For all first-time dads, sharing his personal experiences allowed a special insight into the role fathers to be can play before the birth, how to be an engaged father during the birth and what to expect in the early days following getting settled at home. Australian cricketer Cameron Merchant had a Second XI career in Australia before moving to New Zealand to play first class cricket in 2007. The left-handed batsman (and occasional right-arm off-break bowler) scored more than 1,000 runs in First and Second XI cricket, including two centuries and five half-centuries.
After appearing on Australia’s ‘Married at First Sight’ TV show in 2019, Cam went on to marry his reality TV wife Jules Robinson in real life! The pair are now parents, and Cam joins us to chat about his transition to family life.
