Dads connect at father-child camp

The Community Fathering Program & Westfield Park Primary School

Fathers, father figures and children from Westfield Park Primary School had a fun-filled weekend after attending a camp hosted by Dare Adventures.

Jam-packed with activities including archery, commando courses, bush walking and cubby building. Children, fathers and father-figures spent the weekend making life-long special memories and quality time with one another.

Funded by WA police and P&N Bank, this camp was part of our Community Fathering Program. We give our thanks and appreciation to the community. Without their support, camps like this wouldn’t be possible. These camps not only bring fathers and father figures closer to their children, but provide an opportunity for fathers to connect with one another, in an environment that is often hard to come by on any regular day.

There’s something truly special about sitting around a camp fire. It brings people together and provides the opportunity to share stories, talk, laugh and bond.

We look forward to organising another camp in Term 3.
